Welcome to the 1 World Student Film Festival which celebrates and showcases the most original, entertaining, exciting and finely structured well made short films by the most talented aspiring film students from all over our entire globe.

We started the 1 World Student Film Festival in order to showcase young and/or aspiring filmmakers taking their first steps in the world of short film creation. In our festival we will screen the most innovative new films from film students around the world in all different genres including drama, comedy, documentary, experimental, horror, animation and more. All we require is that films are made with conviction, a quest for originality and will involve an audience. This season we will screen our festivals in Phnom Penh, the Paris of the East, one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities in south east Asia with a fascinating and dramatic history.

The Asia South East – Short Film Festival is a seasonal film festival that gives international audiences from Asia, Europe, North America and elsewhere who are living or travelling in the south east of Asia, a chance to see a wide variety of the great short films that are being produced from around the world.

Here are some of the genres we will be showcasing. – Drama Short – Comedy Short – Documentary Short – Animation Short – Horror Short – Music Video – Experimental Short – Action/ Sci-Fi/ Fantasy Short – Asian Short Film – North American Short Film – European Short Film – Student Short Film

The festival organisers are very proud to be able to showcase the best work of both established and upcoming filmmakers. Our mission is to give recognition and plaudits to the creative talents we feel deserve it and to screen their work to our appreciative, cinema loving audience.
