Short synopses of the fantastic films we’ll be showcasing…..
A hamster king is a victim of his own demise when he refuses to share his excessive wealth with the rest of his kingdom. In a world overwhelmed by visual noise, advertisements saturate every corner of life—from towering billboards to intrusive pop-ups on digital screens. They blur the lines between content and commerce, subtly shaping desires and identities. A waiter and his client get into an absurd discussion in a situation that can change their lives forever. Natives of the Safari, Maasai tribes live on their cattle. In a traditional Maasai family, a man can have many wives. His wealth is measured by the number of cattle, wives, and children he owns. The surrounding world is changing, and so is the Maasai world. In the future, citizens are required to complete the ‘Transfer’ into ‘AI’ in order to become a legal citizen. The film follows a young film director who is determined to shoot her student film, but faces a series of comedic disasters: her car breaks down, the cameraman loses memory cards, one of the main actors doesn’t show up and the situation is further complicated when her jealous boyfriend shows up on set, bringing additional tension and chaos. The morning visit from a downstairs neighbour and his atypical request, take the main character on a journey down the memory lane of a lost relationship.
