We had sporting comedies that cross continents, warm interpersonal dramas, exuberant youthful satires, slick social critiques, bleak animations, generational tensions, uplifting social issue documentaries, beautifully vivid fantasy worlds, idiosyncratic sci-fi farces and knowing meta humour. We also had fantastic Q & As with Chase Deeks and Alex Klass, the creators of Answer Machine and Bilal Javed Mahmood, the writer, producer and actor in Sham Pam. Our $100 Audience Favourite prize went to the extremely talented and extremely young, 11 year old Theodore Richard Herold, the creator of Handy Ketchup. He was born in 2013! Wow, what a talent and, boy, do we feel old.
